On this page, you register your business so Sōl can legally text your customers.

Register to text

Phone carriers require every business that texts through an app to register. We write every message ahead of time and file it for you. Sōl texts from your new Sōl number.

Review registration and carrier status to check a submitted request or continue campaign setup.

Confirm your email first. We sent a link to . Carriers need a confirmed address.

Exactly as on your IRS letter, including "LLC".
Sent to the carrier registry once. We don't store it.
Use the legal name if you do not use a different trading name. This does not register a DBA.
Texts will cover the customer’s current service request.

Without an EIN, carriers use a separate, smaller registration that verifies your cell phone. Save this and our team will walk you through it. Never enter a Social Security number.

This saves your business details as a draft. Nothing is submitted to Telnyx. Review registration to see what is needed before submission.

Review public contacts and publish your company page. Privacy, terms and optional text consent must be approved before registration.

On this page, you connect your bank so customers can pay your invoices from a text.

Your setup checklist: Get Sōl ready to answer your calls.

    Your Sōl number

Already arranged a number with us? We check this business's assignment first. Otherwise, search for a local number below.

Choosing a number saves your preference. We'll confirm availability and any charges before purchasing or connecting it.

    Tell Sōl about your business

Sōl uses this to answer like someone who works for you.

If a caller smells gas or there's a fire or medical emergency, Sōl always tells them to call 911 first.

    Forward your missed calls

Keep using your number for your business. Once forwarding is set up, your phone rings first and Sōl answers when you can't.

What kind of line is it?

    Make a test call

You'll play one of your own customers to hear exactly what they'll hear. It takes about 5 minutes and needs two phones:

Phone A · your phoneThe business phoneThe phone that rings when customers call your business number. Keep it in your hand.
Phone B · the "customer"Any other phoneA spouse's cell, a coworker's phone or an office line. You'll call from this one.

    1 Does Sōl answer?

From Phone B, call your Sōl number, …, directly.

What should happen: Sōl answers within a ring or two: "Thanks for calling your business…" It lets the caller know the call is recorded and asks how it can help. Say something like "My kitchen sink is leaking," give a made-up name and address, and hang up. Within a minute or two, that request reaches you the same way real ones will.

2 Do missed calls reach Sōl?

From Phone B, call your business number. Let Phone A ring, and don't answer it.

What should happen: Phone A rings like normal. After about 4 or 5 rings, Phone A stops ringing and Phone B hears Sōl answer for your business. That's exactly what your customers will hear when you're under a sink.

3 Do you still get your own calls?

From Phone B, call your business number again, and this time answer it on Phone A.

What should happen: A normal call between the two phones. Sōl stays out of it. Sōl only steps in when you don't pick up.

    Something didn't go that way?
    • Sōl didn't answer test 1: your Sōl line may still be connecting. Reply to your welcome email and we'll check it.
    • Phone A never rang and Sōl answered right away: all calls are being forwarded, not just missed ones. Go back to "Forward your missed calls" and use the "when unanswered" steps.
    • The call went to your voicemail instead of Sōl: forwarding isn't on yet, or your voicemail picks up first. Redo the forwarding step, or we'll fix it with you on your Welcome Call.
    • On an iPhone: Live Voicemail can grab the call before Sōl does. Turn it off in your iPhone's Phone settings.
